Gianluca Abate
Founder
Born in Miami's melting pot of cultures, Gianluca descends from Venezuelan-Italian immigrants. Growing up speaking four languages, and having been influenced by the design & films of these cultures since an early age, he went on to study at DePaul University. Receiving a Bachelor's in Fine Arts in Film & TV with a concentration in Directing, and a minor in Graphic Design. In his time at DePaul, Gianluca learned how and when to properly use design and film to promote and advertise ideas in films and design. After graduating in 2021, Gianluca decided to launch Lucky 9.
